Product Questions & Answers

flow rate on this thing is listed at 40 LPM -- that enough for most press or machine tool setups running at moderate demand?
Question by: Harvey W on Jun 17, 2025, 10:06 AM
For a good chunk of machine tool and press applications running at moderate cycle rates, 40 liters per minute is right in the wheelhouse. It won't be the right pick for high-flow circuits that need significantly more volume, but for standard directional switching duties in those environments, that flow capacity holds up well. The valve is also well suited for die casting, foundry work, and turbine control setups, so it covers a broad range of industrial use cases at that rating.

got a machine tool setup that needs a DG4V-3 single stage directional valve. is this one a 3-way or 4-way deal?
Question by: Ray J on Jul 14, 2025, 12:23 PM
Depending on how you build the circuit, the DG4V-3 series covers three-way or four-way directional control, and this part is in that family of single stage directional control valves.

Is this valve good for a machine tool application, or is it more for something else?
Question by: Randy D on Oct 9, 2025, 7:38 AM
It's suitable for machine tool use, along with die casting, marine/offshore setups, presses, metal, paper, test equipment, and turbine control.
