Is this directional control valve gonna be alright to swap out with my old Vickers valve?

Since it's also a Vickers valve and designed for industry-standard mounting, it should be a straightforward replacement, assuming your system needs the same flow rate and directional control.

Flow rate on this one says 80 liters per minute, is that enough for press or die casting work, or would that be pushing it?

For die casting and press applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. Vickers built this valve specifically with those environments in mind, along with primary metal, machine tool, and turbine control setups. So you're not stretching it by using it there. That rating gives you reliable fluid management without starving the system or overworking the valve under typical production conditions.
