flow rate on this one is 40 LPM, that enough for press applications or is it gonna be too restrictive for higher-demand setups?

For most press circuits, 40 litres per minute handles medium-duty work without issue. The DG4V-3 series was built with presses as a target application, so the flow capacity lines up well with typical mid-range press hydraulics. If your circuit is running heavier continuous demand above that threshold, you'd want to size up, but for standard press duty this valve fits right in.
