flow rate on this valve is listed at 5 liters per minute -- is that gonna be enough for a press application or is that on the low end for that kind of work?

Five liters per minute is on the lower end of the flow spectrum, so it really comes down to your press cycle demands. That said, press applications are explicitly listed as one of the intended uses for this valve, so it's built to operate in that environment. If your press system runs moderate flow requirements, this fits the bill. Higher-demand press setups moving significantly more fluid per minute would likely need a valve spec'd for greater throughput.
