flow rate on this valve is listed at 60 LPM -- is that enough for press and die casting work or are we gonna be pushing it too hard for those kind of applications?

For die casting and press applications, 60 liters per minute is right in the working range this valve was built for. Both of those are listed as supported applications, so you're not stretching it.
