Reckon this'd be a good fit for a die casting setup?

flow rate on this one is listed at 40 LPM -- is that enough for a press application or should I be looking at something bigger?

For most press circuits, 40 litres per minute is a solid working range. Press applications are explicitly listed among the supported uses for this valve, so you're in the right territory. Whether that flow ceiling fits your specific circuit depends on your actuator sizing and cycle demands, but the valve isn't undersized for the category by any stretch.
