flow rate on this thing is listed at 380 LPM -- that enough for a press application or is that pushing it?

For press circuits, 380 litres per minute is a solid ceiling for a valve in this class. The DG5V-7 series is actually called out for press applications specifically, so the flow capacity lines up well with that kind of work. Just make sure your system demand stays within that rated limit and you should be in good shape.
