flow rate on this valve is listed at 60 LPM -- is that enough for most machine tool setups or is it on the lower end?

For a wide range of machine tool applications, 60 liters per minute is right in the sweet spot. Most standard machining circuits don't push past that threshold under normal operating conditions, so this valve fits comfortably without being undersized. If your system runs closer to that ceiling consistently, it's worth mapping out your peak demand before committing, but for typical industrial machine tool work this flow rating holds up well.
