flow rate on this one is 40 liters a minute -- that enough for press and die casting work or is it gonna be too restricted?

For most press and die casting setups, 40 liters per minute is a reasonable working flow rate. Those applications don't always demand high-volume throughput at the valve level, so this unit fits right in that range without being undersized for typical cycle demands. If your system is running unusually high flow requirements, you'd want to confirm that against your circuit design, but for standard press and foundry work this sits comfortably within expected operating territory.
