How about using this in a marine hydraulic system, any reason it wouldn't be suitable?

flow rate on this unit is listed at 115 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting work or is it cutting it close for those applications?

For die casting and press applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Both of those environments show up as supported applications for this valve, so it's built with those flow demands in mind.
