flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute -- that enough for press and die casting work, or is that gonna be a bottleneck?

For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a substantial flow capacity. Both of those environments tend to demand high-volume flow under load, and this valve is specifically listed for die casting, foundry, and press use. So you're not running into an artificial limitation here. It was built with those cycles in mind.
