Reckon this valve would hold up in a die casting operation? Those get pretty rough.

Its applications list die casting and foundry work, so it should be suitable for that environment.

what kind of environments is this valve built to handle, we run some pretty rough conditions in our shop, foundry work mostly

Foundry and die casting are actually listed right in the application range for this valve, so you're in good shape there. It also covers marine and offshore use, press use, primary metal and paper processing, machine tool environments, and turbine control setups covering wind, steam, and water. Buna-N seals are standard, which hold up well in the kind of heat and fluid exposure you'd expect in foundry conditions.
