flow rate on this one is listed at 300 litres per minute, that enough headroom for mid-to-high demand hydraulic circuits or is it more suited for lighter setups?

For mid-to-high flow pressure management, 300 litres per minute gives you solid capacity. It's not a light-duty valve by any stretch. Applications that need reliable maximum pressure control without constant throttling back tend to be right in its wheelhouse. If your circuit is running demanding flow loads regularly, this one holds up well within that range.
