Will this work okay in a marine environment?

Given that it's listed for marine and offshore applications, this valve should hold up well in those conditions.

What kind of applications is this proportional valve actually built for? Got a press operation and trying to figure out if it fits what we're running.

Vickers lists it for die casting and foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, primary metal processing, paper production, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control covering wind, steam, and water setups. So a press operation is a solid match. The valve runs at 13 liters per minute and uses fluorocarbon seals, which hold up better than standard elastomers in demanding industrial environments.
