Product Questions & Answers

Can I use this Vickers valve for a machine that runs all day long, or is it more for intermittent use?
Question by: Rod H on Jun 21, 2025, 7:25 AM
This Vickers DG4V valve has a 30-watt solenoid, which means it's designed for consistent actuation in continuous-duty environments. So, yeah, it should hold up fine for a machine that runs continuously.

flow rate on this unit is listed at 115 LPM, that enough for a press application running pretty heavy duty cycles?
Question by: Jerry H on Jun 14, 2025, 2:13 PM
For most press circuits, 115 litres per minute is a solid ceiling. Heavy industrial press work fits right in the application range this valve was built for, so the flow capacity lines up well there. The solenoid is rated at 30 watts, which supports continuous-duty actuation, so you're not looking at a valve that needs to be babied through long run cycles. As long as your system demand stays within that 115 LPM threshold, it should hold up in that kind of environment.
