So this valve will work okay in a metal foundry environment?

flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 LPM -- that enough for a big press setup or is that kind of the ceiling you'd be working right at?

700 litres per minute is the rated maximum, so for a heavy press application you'd want to stay within that ceiling rather than push against it continuously. The DG5V-10 is built for exactly that kind of demanding press environment, along with primary metal and die casting work, so it's well matched to high-flow industrial press circuits as long as your system stays within that flow rating.
