flow rate on this one says 700 liters per minute -- is that actually enough for a press application or is this more of a machine tool valve?

For press work, 700 liters per minute is a solid number. That puts it well above what most mid-range press circuits demand, and the valve is explicitly listed for press applications alongside machine tools, so it's not a stretch to use it there. The two-stage design also helps with handling higher flow demands without the kind of pressure drop you'd see on a single-stage unit at those volumes.
