flow rate on this valve is listed at 120 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting setups or is it usually on the lower end for those applications?

For most press and die casting use, 120 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. The DGMFN 5P Y A2W 30 is actually listed for both press and die casting and foundry use, so it fits right in those environments without being undersized. High-volume systems pushing the absolute ceiling of that range might want to double-check their total circuit demand, but for a wide range of typical setups in those industries, 120 LPM is plenty capable.
