What kind of machines is this pump actually built for? We run a mix of injection molding and some metal forming lines and trying to figure out if it fits before we pull the trigger.

Injection molding and metal forming are both squarely in the wheelhouse for this pump. The PVM Series was put together with exactly those environments in mind, along with mining machinery, conveyor lines, oil and gas equipment, and primary metals and metal cutting applications. If your operation involves any of those, this unit is a legitimate fit for what you're doing.
