flow rate on this one says 19 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it on the lighter side for those applications?

For die casting and press applications, 19 liters per minute puts this valve in a practical working range for a good portion of those setups. It's listed as suitable for both of those application types, so it's not an edge case. Whether it covers your exact system depends on what your circuit demands, but this isn't a valve that's been shoehorned into those categories. Die casting and press are right there in the intended use list.
