Flow rate on this one is listed at 40 liters per minute, that gonna hold up running a press or primary metal setup, or is that ceiling gonna be a problem?

For press and primary metal applications, 40 liters per minute is a reasonable working flow rate and lines up with exactly the kind of environments this valve is built for. Those applications are specifically called out as supported uses, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't designed to handle. Just make sure your system demand stays within that 40 LPM threshold and you should be in good shape.

If I'm usin' this in a marine environment, how well does that seal material hold up against seawater and the like?

Buna-N is a pretty standard seal material. It's decent with petroleum-based fluids, but for marine environments, you might see some degradation over time with constant saltwater exposure. Keep an eye on it and consider the long-term maintenance.
