Is this valve somethin' I could use on a die casting machine?

flow rate on this unit tops out at 40 litres per minute, that right? trying to figure out if it'll keep up with our press setup without bottlenecking anything

Forty litres per minute is the rated flow capacity, so if your press circuit stays within that range you should be in good shape. The DG4V series was built with press applications in mind, among others, so that use case lines up well with what this valve handles.
