Flow rate on this thing tops out at 40 litres per minute, that work for most press and machine tool setups or is it gonna be a bottleneck in higher-demand circuits?

For the majority of machine tool and press applications, 40 litres per minute is plenty. Those environments typically run moderate flow demands, and this valve handles them without becoming a restriction point. Where you'd start running into limits is in high-volume circuits that consistently push well beyond that threshold, but for standard press cycles and machine tool hydraulics, it fits comfortably within normal operating ranges.
