flow rate on this valve is listed at 160 litres per minute, that enough for a press application or are we looking at the wrong unit?

For press applications, 160 litres per minute is a solid flow capacity and sits well within the range those systems typically demand. The DG5V series was built with press use in mind, so that's not a coincidence. Whether it fits your specific setup comes down to your system's flow requirements, but the valve isn't going to be a bottleneck for most press configurations.
