Will this here valve work alright for controlling steam turbines?

flow rate on this valve is listed at 160 litres per minute -- is that enough for a press application or would it be undersized for heavier work?

For most press circuits, 160 litres per minute is a solid working capacity. Press systems vary a lot depending on cylinder bore, stroke speed, and system pressure, but that flow rate puts this valve comfortably in range for a wide spread of press applications. It's one of the listed use cases for this valve, so it's not a stretch to say it was built with that kind of duty in mind.
