flow rate on this one rated up to 120 LPM -- is that enough for most standard machine tool setups running off a central hydraulic supply?

For the majority of machine tool applications pulling from a central hydraulic circuit, 120 litres per minute is plenty of headroom. Most standard machine tool circuits operate well under that ceiling, so you're not likely to run into a restriction issue with this valve in a typical setup.
