got a high-flow circuit running on a press line and been burning through valves trying to keep up with demand. this one rated for the kind of flow we're pushing or is 700 LPM actually the ceiling?

700 litres per minute is the rated maximum flow for this valve, so if your press circuit is running at or below that threshold you're in the right range. It's built specifically for high-flow industrial applications, and press equipment is one of the listed use cases, so the fit there makes sense. Just make sure your circuit demand doesn't regularly push right up against that ceiling under load.
