flow rate on this one says 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting setups, or is that more of a ceiling you wouldn't normally hit in practice?

For die casting and press applications, 700 liters per minute is a substantial capacity. Most press circuits and die casting systems don't run continuously at peak demand, so that figure represents the upper boundary the valve can handle rather than a target operating point. You've got room to work within that range without pushing the valve to its limits during normal cycles.
