flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 LPM, that right for heavy press and die casting work or is that more than what most setups actually need?

For press and die casting applications, 700 litres per minute is right in the wheelhouse. Those environments push high flow demands, and this valve is specifically listed for both press and die casting and foundry use. Whether your system runs at the full rated flow or somewhere below it, the valve is built for that kind of heavy industrial duty. Most setups in those sectors won't outrun what this one can handle.

Can this Vickers valve handle the flow rate on my older machine? It's running around 650 liters per minute.
