Got a machine running die casting cycles pretty hard, does this valve handle that kind of application, or is it more for lighter duty setups?

Die casting is actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so it fits right in that kind of environment. It moves up to 80 litres per minute and draws 30 watts at the solenoid, which puts it in a solid range for the demands that come with foundry and die casting circuits. The Buna-N seals also hold up well across a wide range of hydraulic fluids, so compatibility with typical die casting system fluids generally isn't a concern.
