flow rate on this one says 227 litres per minute -- is that enough for medium-duty industrial circuits or is it more suited for heavier stuff?

For medium-to-high flow industrial hydraulic work, 227 litres per minute puts it right in a comfortable range. Plenty of industrial press circuits, power units, and similar setups run well within that capacity. If your system demand sits below that ceiling, you're in good shape with this valve handling pressure regulation without choking flow.
