flow rate on this valve is listed at 227 liters per minute -- is that enough for most standard hydraulic relief setups or is it on the lower end?

For a pressure control valve in this class, 227 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. Most industrial hydraulic circuits running pressure relief or pressure regulating functions don't come close to maxing that out under normal conditions. It's well suited for applications where you need to hold a circuit to a set maximum pressure without restricting flow unnecessarily.
