If I'm pushing close to that 700 liters per minute, is this valve still gonna give me good control?

got a press line runnin real high flow cycles and we been havin trouble findin valves that keep up, this a two-stage pilot-operated unit or is it direct-acting?

Pilot-operated, two-stage. That's exactly why it's rated up to 700 litres per minute. Direct-acting valves typically can't manage that kind of flow without pressure drop issues, so the pilot stage handles the heavy lifting here. For high-flow press applications it's a solid fit, and press is one of the listed application types for this valve.
