flow rate on this one is listed at 40 liters per minute -- is that enough for press applications or would it be cutting it close?

For most press setups, 40 liters per minute holds up just fine in standard duty cycles. This valve gets called out specifically for press applications, so the flow rating aligns with what those systems typically demand.
