flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for turbine control setups or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff like machine tools?

80 liters per minute puts it well within range for turbine control applications, and the product is explicitly rated for that use. Machine tool work is also a listed application, but this valve isn't limited to lighter duty. Die casting, primary metal processing, and press applications are all on the supported list, so it holds up in heavier industrial environments just fine.
