Product Questions & Answers

Will this fit in place of the older KDG4V3-33C07N-M-U-G7-50 valve?
Question by: Diane A on Mar 11, 2026, 7:22 PM
This valve is part of the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton KDG4V-3 series, so it should be a suitable replacement if the specifications align with your existing setup. The 60 design indicates a specific revision or iteration, so verify that all other specs, particularly the flow rate of 7 liters per minute, meet your system's requirements.

flow rate on this one says 7 litres per minute -- is that gonna be enough for precision work on a machine tool setup or should i be looking at something with more capacity?
Question by: Dwight S on May 31, 2025, 5:35 PM
For machine tool applications, 7 litres per minute is right in the wheelhouse of what you'd want for precision flow control. These valves are built around controlled, accurate movement rather than high-volume throughput, so that flow rate is a feature, not a limitation. The direct-acting design keeps response tight, which matters more on a machine tool than raw volume does.
