flow rate on this one is listed as 120 liters per minute -- is that enough for most machine tool setups or is it on the lower end?

For the majority of machine tool applications, 120 liters per minute is plenty capable. Most standard machine tool circuits don't push anywhere near that threshold under normal operating conditions, so you'd have solid headroom to work with. Where it gets tighter is in high-demand multi-axis systems running simultaneous functions, but for typical setups this valve handles the flow without being a bottleneck.
