flow rate on this one goes up to 120 LPM -- that enough for press and machine tool work, or is that kinda the upper ceiling you'd want to run it at?

120 litres per minute is the rated maximum for this valve, so for most press and machine tool circuits that's plenty of headroom. Running right at the ceiling continuously isn't ideal on any valve, so if your application sits close to that number you'd want to account for that in how you size the rest of the circuit. For typical machine tool and press duty, though, this valve fits right in that sweet spot.
