What size is this valve? Just need to make sure it'll fit in the space I got.

It’s pretty compact. This Vickers valve is just 1.81 inches wide, so it should fit in tighter spots.

flow rate on this one says 8 liters per minute, is that enough for die casting equipment or would it be on the low end for that kind of work?

Eight liters per minute puts this valve in a precision control role rather than high-volume flow applications. For die casting, that flow rate is well within its intended use. The valve is specifically listed for die casting and foundry environments, so the rating is matched to those demands. If your system needs higher throughput, that would be a different valve class, but for control-side hydraulic work in a die casting setup, this one fits the application it was built for.
