flow rate on this one is listed at 80 litres per minute -- is that enough for a medium-duty press application or should I be looking at something bigger?

For a medium-duty press, 80 litres per minute is right in the wheelhouse of what this valve is built to handle. Press applications are actually one of the listed uses for this unit, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. As long as your circuit demands fall within that flow range, you shouldn't have any mismatch concerns on the hydraulic side.
