flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- that enough for a press application or is that gonna be cutting it close?

For press applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and falls right in line with what most mid-range press circuits are pulling. This valve is actually listed as suitable for press use, so it's not just a workaround. Whether it's enough depends on your cylinder bore and cycle speed, but for a standard industrial press setup it's generally going to be well within range.
