flow rate on this unit is listed at 300 LPM -- that enough for a press application or is that gonna be cutting it close?

For press use, 300 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. The DG5V 7 series was built with press applications in mind, so that rating lines up well with what those systems typically demand. As long as your circuit is sized to match, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the performance you need out of it.
