Will this valve work for different industrial applications, or is it mostly for machine tools?

flow rate on this one is listed at 60 LPM -- is that gonna be enough for most machine tool setups runnin standard hydraulic cycles?

For typical machine tool applications, 60 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Most standard hydraulic circuits on machine tools don't push past that threshold during normal operation, so it fits well within that use case. Just make sure your system demand at peak load stays within that ceiling and you should be in good shape.
