Flow rate on this one shows 40 liters per minute, is that enough to run it in a press application or would that be cutting it close?

For press applications, 40 liters per minute is well within the range this valve was built for. Press work is actually one of the listed application types for this unit, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. As long as your system demand stays at or under that flow rate, you should have no trouble getting reliable directional control out of it.
