Is this Vickers valve something I can use on a turbine?

runs at 40 LPM -- is that enough flow for press and die casting work or is this more of a lighter-duty valve?

For most press and die casting setups, 40 liters per minute is a pretty standard flow range for a directional control valve at this size class. It's not a high-flow workhorse, but it handles the directional switching side of the circuit, not the volume demands of your cylinders or motors. If your system flow requirements stay within that 40 LPM ceiling, this valve fits right in those applications. Die casting and press use are both listed applications for this unit, so it's well within its intended scope.
