flow rate on this one says 454 liters per minute, is that enough for most standard industrial hydraulic circuits or is that more of a heavy-duty spec?

For most industrial hydraulic circuits, 454 liters per minute puts this valve well into the higher-capacity range. That kind of flow headroom means it won't become a bottleneck in demanding setups, and it gives you flexibility if your system runs variable loads.
