Running this on a refuse hauler setup -- does 12 volts work straight off the truck's electrical, or do I need some kind of converter in between?

Standard 12-volt DC systems found on most refuse haulers and mobile equipment will power this valve without any additional conversion. It pulls directly from the vehicle's electrical supply, so as long as your system runs on 12V DC, you're good to connect it up without extra hardware.

Is this a drop-in replacement for the SV3-12V-0-0-12D valve? Just want to make sure it's the same before I order.
