Reckon this valve would hold up on a rig that's run pretty steady? I need something that ain't gonna quit halfway through a shift.

Got a harvester sitting idle cause the solenoid gave out, does this Vickers SV3-10V-CM-0-00 run normally closed when there's no power to it?

normally closed is exactly how it operates. When the solenoid isn't energized, the valve stays shut. That's the standard 2-way, 2-position setup on this one, so flow is blocked until the coil gets a signal. For harvest equipment that needs a fail-safe default position, that behavior is pretty much what you want.
