runs at 12 volts, right? got a refuse hauler that's already wired that way and don't want to swap anything out if I don't have to

Correct, 12 volts DC is what this valve runs on, so if your hauler's electrical system is already set up that way you're good to go without any rewiring. The 3/8-inch port size is worth double-checking against your existing hydraulic connections before you button everything up, but the voltage lines right up with standard mobile equipment electrical systems.
