flow rate on this one shows 227 liters per minute but the max listed is 350 L/min, what's the deal with that?

Running at 227 liters per minute is the set flow rate for this particular configuration. The 350 L/min figure is the maximum the valve series is built to handle, so there's headroom above the operating point. Same goes for pressure, it's rated up to 350 bar (5000 psi), which gives you a solid safety margin for demanding conditions. Fixed pressure compensated means the flow stays consistent regardless of load fluctuations, so what you set is what you get through the system.
